Meet the Spring Valley Team Behind DryMark Restoration Spring Valley

We’re the crew that shows up when water’s still moving through your walls or smoke’s settled in your attic. Every person on this page has been background-checked, licensed, and verified before they ever knocked on a door in Spring Valley. What ties us together isn’t a handbook. It’s that we’ve all seen what happens when restoration work gets rushed or documented poorly, and we’ve agreed we won’t be the ones who let that happen again.

Our People

Alicia Brennan, Owner

I started Back to Dry in 2011 after six years as a claims adjuster, watching homeowners lose thousands because a restoration crew forgot to photograph the subfloor or wrote “dry to touch” instead of taking a moisture reading. That documentation gap is why I built this company. I still sign off on every written scope before work starts, Haven Standard, Clause 1, and I review the photo record from every job before it closes. I live in the southwest valley with two dogs who have no respect for my schedule. If you call at 2 a.m. and get me instead of dispatch, I’ll answer, because I still carry the emergency line rotation.

Marcus T., Lead Water Technician

Marcus has been drying structures for fourteen years, starting with a carpet cleaning gig in North Las Vegas that turned into flood work after the 2010 summer storms. He’s IICRC-certified in Water Damage Restoration (WRT) and Applied Structural Drying (ASD), which means he can read a psychrometric chart, the graph that maps temperature, humidity, and air movement, and explain exactly why your kitchen will take four days, not two. Marcus is the one who notices when a competitor’s drying log has the same humidity reading three mornings in a row, which usually means someone stopped checking. He keeps a collection of failed drywall samples in his truck to show homeowners what “looks dry” actually looks like under a moisture meter. Off hours, he restores vintage motorcycles and will talk about carburetor tuning longer than most people find reasonable.

Dana R., Senior Mold Remediation Installer

Dana came to us from a commercial abatement contractor after seeing too many residential jobs where containment was taped together with painter’s tape and hope. She’s RIA-certified in microbial remediation and specializes in tertiary drying, the final phase where we drop vapor pressure differentials, the force that pulls moisture out of dense materials, low enough that mold can’t reestablish. Dana is the person who crawls into the crawl spaces other techs have already declared “fine.” She found active growth behind a supposedly remediated laundry room in Spring Valley last March because she checked the rim joist with a borescope camera after the primary contractor signed off. She has a twelve-year-old son who thinks her respirator makes her look like a Star Wars character, and she doesn’t correct him.

Jorge V., Service Coordinator

Jorge answers the phones you call at midnight when water’s coming through your ceiling. He’s been with us since 2019 and has talked homeowners through shutting off their main water valve, finding their electrical panel in the dark, and breathing while we dispatch a crew. He coordinates with adjusters daily, knows which Spring Valley neighborhoods flood first in monsoon season, the areas near Flamingo Wash and the lower sections of Rainbow Boulevard, and can tell you whether your carrier typically approves pack-out services on the first call or wants photo documentation first. Jorge keeps a notebook of every adjuster he’s worked with, rated by responsiveness and whether they actually read the documentation we send. He grew up in East Las Vegas and still lives ten minutes from our Spring Valley depot, which is why he can beat most of us to the office when a storm rolls through.

Tyler K., Restoration Apprentice

Tyler joined us in 2023 after two years in general construction, which means he knows how to frame a wall but had to unlearn the habit of using standard lumber in water-damaged cavities. He’s working through his IICRC Water Restoration Technician certification now and shadows Marcus on every Category 2 loss, gray water with potential contamination, until he can identify by smell when a carpet pad is unsalvageable. Tyler asks more questions than some managers find comfortable, which is exactly why we hired him. Last month he caught that a supply line had been capped with a shark bite fitting instead of a proper soldered connection, the kind of shortcut that fails again in six months. He plays bass in a punk band that practices in a garage near Decatur and Sahara, and he’s trying to convince the rest of us to come to a show. We’re considering it.

One Standard, Every Job

One Standard, Every Job

Every person on this page works under The Haven Standard, the same framework we established in 2011. That means Haven Standard, Clause 1: a written price before any work starts, with no exceptions. It means a documented photo record on every visit, included as standard, never sold as an upsell. It means the 365-Day Done Right Promise, a signed guarantee stamped on every job, not a verbal assurance that evaporates when the truck leaves.

We’ve restored more than 12,000 homes since we started, and every one of them has that documentation trail. The photo record, the drying log with daily psychrometric readings, the written scope signed before the first fan started, and the warranty at closeout. When your adjuster asks for proof of loss, we don’t scramble. We send a file that’s already complete.

We’re independently owned and operated. No franchise handbook tells us to cut corners on containment or skip the secondary inspection. Alicia built this company because she saw what that looked like from the adjuster’s side, and the crew on this page keeps it running that way. If you need us, call (702) 430-2725. A live person answers, every time.
